Nowadays large companies do not appear to want to help when problems occur, or so we are led to believe. I can categorically state this is not the case when Lyson and Nazdar are the companies in question.

My problem was a difficult one so I rang John at Marrutt's, he put me on to Adam Slack at Nazdar in Stockport. Because I live close by I was able to take my printer down to the Nazdar premises where Adam and his team were able to help me with my problems. I must recommend Adam for his professionalism and attitude to customers, he is very busy but still finds the time to make a person feel that any problem is worth sorting out.

Over two days his team solved my problems completely and all I can do is show my
appreciation by pointing out what a competent and efficient person Adam is, backed up by his team of course.

Thanks to Adam, Sandra and Alan for helping me in my hour of need and of course John for

I am writing to thank you for all the help and support you gave me when I was installing the CIS on my R1800 printer. The customer service was excellent and the advice and help made the task that much easier. When I continued to have problems replacement cartridges were tried and unfortunately this did not solve the problem I was having. The complete system was replaced and the system worked beautifully. The inks themselves are of superb quality and now I have the system running I am looking forward to troublefree printing.

I had an urgent Christmas order of 10 fine art prints to complete by today.  The cartridge failed yesterday morning when I initiated a nozzle clean.  The replacement that you sent arrived 24 hours later (i.e. this morning);  I had the new cartridge installed and working within half an hour, and all the prints are now finished.

I am very satisfied with the CIS for the Epson 1400. After initial teething problems with colour matching, resulting from poor digital images made with a new camera. Once this was sorted the process has been trouble free.

I produce limited edition prints from my oil paintings, so there is a two stage process before a faithful print can be obtained. The camera image is the intermediate stage, not, as in most cases, the original.

Just wanted to say thank you for your Epson 1270/1290/s Printer Support Page and purge file. I must have used a full colour cartridge on nozzle check and clean trying to eliminate horizontal yellow and cyan fine lines.

Having read your instructions I came across a reference to a blue lever which I had not seen elsewhere. The lever on my 1270 was in the raised position. Once I lowered it-hey presto it worked. Also to say I've had had my custom profile back from Sandra at Nazdar and the results are STUNNING I couldn't believe I could get such true black and white from an Epson 2400 without using just black and grey inks.

I have to write this to say how impressed I am by your product.
I purchased on-line and received the package two days later, didn’t install till Boxing day.

The whole process was relatively painless and took less than an hour to complete, my r2880 recognised the inkset straight away. After ‘wasting’ an A4 print on plain paper, proceeded to print an A4 on Epson’s own paper, and apart from being an acceptable shade darker than I expected, produced an excellent print straight out of the box, no colour balance issues at all

For the last couple of years I have had an Epson R1800 with a self installed Lyson CIS system, the printer has worked fine with a few frustrations though nothing to really gripe about. Anyway after visiting one of your road shows I saw the quality of printing that was possible with the epson R2880 and have finally gotten around to buying one, and most importantly one of your bulk systems. I've not written to recommend the bulk system one way or the other (I guess the sell themselves),However I would like to say that your service is peerless: I have never once called and had you unable to answer a question (no matter how simple or stupid), and you have always been able to help with any problem specific to my needs.
Many people are reluctant to buy from the internet and usually with good reason, but if I was asked I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

Dear John,
There are now three of us in the Axminster Photography Group who use your CIS inks, and I think two more are thinking seriously about it.

The impact of the pro-gloss prints from the 1400 Epsom cannot be ignored! I also love the rich tone of monochrome using Smooth Fine Art for exhibition or sale .I want to try the Gloss Fine Art as well. For some work the extreme white of Pro Gloss can be too much, and a slightly warmer tone equivalent would be nice.

My CIS has worked faultlessly so far for nearly 2 years, so thank you for enabling me to print without cartridges running out in the middle of a print session, and costing the earth. Of course I just make more prints now!

Many thanks for all your help and advice over the last few days.

After choosing the Epson R2880 printer, as a replacement for my old Epson 1290S, and installing the 9 ink system on your advice, I am more than happy to say that the results in quality and colour are out of this world. I used to detest printing due to colour casts or profiles not matching properly, but now it’s a pleasure to see my finished work in its true colours.

The guides and installation videos are a tremendous help and very well put together. The complete install from start to finish took about an hour and a half, the longest part being setting up the ink reservoir and cartridges, but I can see that this time will be greatly reduced in the future by only having to top-up the inks as needed. The mechanical install was straight forward and the online video a great asset during the process.

My first print, on Lyson paper and supplied profile, was of the downloadable test print, the same one sent to me as a sample. The results were astounding for an “off the shelf” profile.

This will take my work to a totally new level and I am looking forward to dealing with you all in the future.

I have to say that I have found your Lyson paper to be superior to Epson’s, giving a much whiter base. Also, Lyson K3 ink shows less metamerism on my astronomical prints. Having an Epson 3800 with Epson ink, and a 2400 with Lyson ink, I can easily compare different media combinations.

Hi John,

Just to say that I received my custom profile less than 24 hours after having posted off the target. I have now printed the evaluation image using the custom profile and am delighted to say that my print matches the print supplied by you so faithfully that one can not see any difference except one. The monochrome images came out on my print a tad blacker and that suits me fine as I should now be able to produce some very nice monochrome competition prints. I am already seeing a difference in my colour prints as the colours are much truer on the prints which I made using the generic Lyson profile. Thanks again for all your help.

I have just purchased from you a continuous ink system for my Epson R1900.

I work as a graphic designer and do a significant amount of proofing of jobs. I found the cost of Epson original cartridges prohibitive and had been using compatible ones for some time. However I seemed to be wasting a huge amount of time running cleaning cycles every time I installed a new cartridge and actually seemed to be using more ink doing this than printing jobs.

I decided to investigate continuous systems and eventually purchased one from another company. To be frank it was a heap of rubbish and almost put me off CIS for good! The components were of poor quality, the tubes continually tangled and fouled the printer body and also regularly became detached from the cartridges. On the rare occasions the system actually worked colour matching was poor and I spent hours trying to make adjustments in the software to address this but without success. The final straw was one of the chip resetting buttons completely disintegrating. I contacted the company for support and was surprised that they simply offered me a refund, which I availed myself of.

The printed instructions for the system were completely incomprehensible, written in some poorly translated pigeon-English! In the course of trying to get the system operational I came across your excellent training videos. I was impressed by the level of support offered by your company and the apparent quality of the system components. As a result I took the plunge and purchased a system from you. When it arrived I was immediately impressed by the quality of the system and the packaging – all very professional. The excellent instructions provided enabled me to quickly get the system operational. I have run some test prints using the supplied paper and I have to say the results are stunning, with excellent colour matching. Broadly I calculate the cost of the bulk inks are comparable with the compatible cartridges I was purchasing although as there is less waste of both ink and time I think the system will prove to be more economical. However in terms of the output, there is absolutely no comparison with the prints produced.

So I just wanted to thank you for excellent service and an excellent product.

I've got to say, the CIS for the R1900 is brill. We've been trialling it for a couple of months and it's faultless. Resetting the cartridges (when Epson Monitor thinks they are empty is easier and faster that replacing an actual cartridge - if we ever went back to that archaic mechanism again! Not that we would.).

I received the cis on time for our exposition, thanks !

Installing the system was very easy thanks to all the information and the video tutorials on your site which were very helpfull. I experenced a little problem priming the cartriges, when I replaced the little 'bungs' a small amount of air entered the tubing, but after a few prints all the air vanished.
So far the cis for my r2880 works perfect, colours are very good. (no one could tell the difference)
A good system, good inks along with your excellent service (quick respond mail) makes me a very satisfied customer.
